The tree plantation and preservation was jointly hosted by all the 7 clubs from Zone 4. This zonal event was a very successful one. Hope it will be a fruitful one as well.

Initiated by RC Kupondole with support from ECCA and Jalabinayak Community Centre we planted about 100 plants of 5 different species within the premises of Manjushree Park at Chovar. The plants were provided for free by ECCA.

The plants were planted in a secured area surrounded by barbed wires so that no intruders like animals can get it and destroy the plants. Also, each plant was protected by surrounding with rocks and stones. Our main concern was preservation rather than plantation.

After the plantation program, we also cleaned the area. The plastics and the organic wastes were disposed safely.

After the plantation program, we had a cave visit there at Manjushree park. The cave was "Bagh Cave". The price for visiting the cave was NRS 150 per person. But the community there arranged for us at NRS 65 each. It was a great experience for all of us in such a cave. It was dangerous but fun as well. One of a rotaractor from Jawalakhel Manjushree had her birthday that day. We all sang the birthday inside that cave. Hope she had the unforgettable moment that day.

The whole programm was a great success. Thanks to all the host clubs, ECCA, Jalabinayak Community Centre, visiting clubs and other guests for making this program a huge success.
