¤ Chair of RI Rotaract Committee 09/10 Message
Hello Rotaractors!

It is a privilege to serve as the 2009-2010 Chairman of the Rotary International Rotaract Committee. I am excited about the upcoming year, and hope we can work together to improve Rotaract around the world.

Yet as we move ahead, we need your help. Active participation is what makes Rotaract the dynamic and energetic organization it is. You are helping to motivate young people around the world to develop important skills, and you are contributing to your communities through important service projects. Rotaract enables people to gain exposure to enriching international experiences and develop long-lasting friendships

As Chair of the RI Rotaract Committee, I will focus on strengthening this relationship between Rotaract clubs and their sponsoring Rotary clubs. For Rotaract clubs to maximize their resources, it is critical that Rotary clubs play an active and supportive role, and that the lines of communication between the organizations remain open. I have a talented and diverse team, and I am confident that we will build upon the successes of our predecessors to continue to make Rotaract a valuable and fun organization for young people all over the globe. I am excited for what we can accomplish together, and I look forward to working with all of you to gather feedback and recommendations on how to improve the Rotaract program. By collaborating, we can identify the best ways to strengthen the relationships between Rotaract clubs and their sponsoring Rotary clubs.

I encourage you to plan to attend next year’s Pre-Convention in Montreal, Canada. This is truly an international event and an ideal platform for us to share ideas about service projects and meet friends from all over the globe.

I look forward to an exciting Rotaract Pre-convention!

Please reach out to the Committee Members with any suggestions or thoughts.
Warm regards,

PDG Dong-Joon Lee
