Dear Rtr. …..

Congratulations on your assumption of office as Club Leadership for Rotary Year 2010-11, when we will work together to achieve the Rotary theme “Building Communities — Bridging Continents“ given by Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith.

Together with Rotary, Rotaract movement in Nepal is very active and vibrant with 59 or so Rotaracy clubs in the District. Rotaract is an integral part of the Rotary movement in the country as they are the most active arms of Rotary. Most appropriately, Youth Service has now been added as the Fifth Avenue of Rotary service. This recognizes the important role of the youth in Rotary service.

To enlarge the family of Rotary, I urge that each Rotary Club should have at least one Rotaract Club, Interact Club and Rotary Community Corps (RCC) to make our presence felt in the communities we serve. We must try to involve many generations to serve the communities we build.

I wish you and your club members a very prosperous, healthy and productive new Rotary Year 2010-2011, when we all together will strive to create a new identity and image of Rotary in Nepal.
